LUSI Learning Journey

At LUSI, our schedule is designed to balance structure with flexibility, providing a well-rounded and engaging day for every learner. Students experience a mix of whole group activities, pod-based learning, and individual academic work time, allowing for both collaboration and personal growth.

A day in the life of a LUSI learner

​​Each day begins with Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) to help students center themselves, build community, and set a positive tone for the day. We end with enrichment time, where all students come together for creative, collaborative, and reflective activities that spark joy and connection.

Dedicated reading and book club time is built into each day, fostering a love for literacy and discussion.

To support focus and wellbeing, we include brain breaks and free time for outdoor play, board games, or relaxing activities. Our schedule is thoughtfully crafted to keep students inspired, challenged, and joyful in their learning journey.

Hands-on, project-based learning activities

One-on-one academic support and coaching students through their personal weekly goals
